This is a cleaner, more insightful and overall more engaging performance from a pair of speakers that were already among the best you could buy for their outlay.
Okay, the 607 S2 Anniversary doesn’t have the lavish finish of higher-end designs from this stable, but it looks neat enough and in sonic terms is right on the pace. Its strength is its basically friendly and engaging sound that makes you want to listen to music, no matter what type or genre.
The 607s exhibit both power and delicacy but and, this is the real clincher, whatever you throw at them, there is one word that keeps springing to mind: holographic.
